Immerse Me In Your Light and Conjoin Me to Your Body So That I Might Fly

Dear Lord,

        Center me to my core, the place where I behold Your face.  Regenerate my soul and wash me with Your Spirit, the blood of all righteousness.  Thank You for morphing me even when it hurts.  I am nearly ready to hatch from this shell.

     Make me a gift to others, a blessing and joy.  Make me to represent Your name with dignity and come to understand my role in Your grand plan.  

     I wait these days, staring into the sky; I wait these days, meditating deeper in my heart.  I grow weary and tired, but yet I still wait, for I can accomplish nothing without You.  Here I sit, a servant waiting for You to move.  Sigh.
     I jump to conclusions, making assumptions when all I must do is trust.  Help me to open my heart and simply receive of You, as an innocent child, receive of Your Holy Spirit.   

     You take me to the world of Spirit and transport my soul upon the wings of a dove.  You Seal Your name YHWH upon my forehead, and make my Christ-heart to shine.  We are one, You and I; only I ask that I decrease while You increase.  

     I treasure our moments together and the fleeting bouts of inspiration that overcome my soul.  I treasure our Love and romance, the moments of sweet felicity You share.  

     Let me serve You in whatever capacity You please.  I am a joyful, happy slave for You.  I am branded by Your seal, betrothed and permanently Yours.  Immerse me in Your Light and conjoin me to Your body so that I might fly.  In Jesus’ Name . Amen.
