The Secret Wonders Reserved for Your Inner Courts

Psalms, Prayers, and Devotionals

Dear Master,
You are with me in the torrent, holding my hand in the blizzard rain.  I fear not but remain calm in the stillness of the moment, the quietude of trust, the peace of Your Spirit abiding in me.
Make my life is a tapestry of Your work, collections of miracles that I witness, record, and experience.  Always close together do we ride, You carrying the load, my heart care-free.  Awaiting final orders, the moment of discovery, when past and future blend together into the stillness of this moment.  Free from expectations and desires, here I sit and wait for You, knowing that one day Your Spirit will move me.
You decorate my reality so finely tuned, I am like a child in a role playing game, facilitating the interactions You inspire.  Beloved, enter me and make music.  Enter me and shine brightly.  Let us make Love together.  I want to share with You, to be close with You.  Thank You for shattering my doubts into smithereens.  Let us sweep away the dust and remake the world to Your liking.  I am helpless and hopeless without Your direction and care.  I cannot do what You ask me, save You fill me with Your Spirit, the only way in which I am empowered to overcome.
I keep myself from the spots of this world and the vile of affection.  But You are what I want, what I need.  I give up anything and everything for You.
Let my devotions be pleasing for You.  Show me how to be a better servant and steward.  Elevate my degree of initiation.  Teach me of the secret wonders reserved for Your inner courts.
Oh Lord, how I long for Your holiness, a purity I cannot achieve in this realm.  It grips me in a vice of sadness that even my own best efforts fall terribly short of Your glory.  Thank You for killing me softly and sweetly.  Let me decrease while You increase in me.  Make me a better soldier, Sir; make me a better son, my Father.  Open my heart  to more of You.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
