Positively Charged Atom Seeking to Excite Others

Lord,

        Let us commune together in silence.  Visit my dreams and make my Sabbath rest sweet.  Keep me focused, that I not lose sight of my destiny, calling, or mission—what You entrusted to me.  Use me as a vessel through which to publish Truth.  Your Truth, Your Love changed my life.  Therefore it is incumbent upon me to share it with others.

     Master, all is committed into Thine hands.  I feel blessed but empty at the same time.  I am as a positively charged atom seeking to excite the other atoms around me unto Your frequency.  Thank You for Your Love, for being my friend.  Thank You for giving me a purpose to live for, a calling to die for.  Please make my path sure.  Give me vision to see and strength to endure.  Teach me to redeem the time, to serve You and work toward the long-term purpose You appointed.

     Transform me into the mold You desire.  I aspire to virtue and godly character.   But weigh me and reveal the matter, for I know not whether my perceptions are distorted.  You are the final authority on Truth.  How can a man see his own faults, measure his own progress if not by Your Spirit?

     Your Love makes me to shine and radiate, to become warm and friendly to others.  Your wisdom makes me to eschew bad company, to keep away at arm’s distance those who revile Your name.  The lost need salvation, but the wicked are already dead, forever having been turned over to a reprobate mind.

     Oh Master, give me that direct line, a sure connection to You.  Here on earth I am born into dust, but in my heart, I look toward that new body, to be clothed with Your righteousness and washed in spiritual purity.  Sanctify my soul against the darkness and evil that surrounds.

     Master, I beseech thee, that I might be not just any witness for You; that I might not just be any saint who trusts You.  But that You build me into an expert witness, one who might testify for You against Satan in both life and death.  Give me the courage to hold up during cross examination and against the wiles of the devil.  With Your wisdom and guidance, with Your Holy Spirit working in me, reveal what to say, where to go, and how to be.  You have blessed me with a sure path and I pray that I might do glorious things for You in Your name; that one day my life will have meant something.  The biggest measure of a man’s worth is how many others he inspired toward righteousness along the way.  I pray to make a meaningful impact in this regard.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
