Valley of Distress

Benevolent Master,

        Thank You for this here day of freedom, for the opportunity to live, breathe, and think of new and more creative ways to magnify Your name.  It will not be long now before I am provided the forum to apply and share what You planted inside of me.

     Beloved, I have been on the edge, in need of quality time with You.  I allow the turmoil of the day to cause distress in me.  But You calm my nerves when You whisper upon my heart; You calm my nerves when You remind me of the Inner Vision.  You grant seekers peak experiences; You transport me to the summit.  Come set me upon a high plateau and reveal the Power of Your Resurrection in my heart.  In the valley of distress I am made fit for You.

     The inner workings of Your grace are marvelous, something I aspire toward.  I trust in the times and seasons, that all will be accomplished in due course.  Let not my Light fade from me before given the forum to shine, to share Your message of hope.

     Lord, I sacrifice this present time for our future.  Grant me wisdom and discernment to decide rightly.  You know of my trials and You know the specific relief for which I pray.  Bless my beginnings and endings, my goings in and comings out.  You are the Alpha and Omega, my Beginning and End.  I trust You with my life and profess Love and devotion to You.  Thank You for mercy upon my soul.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
