Star Flowers

Star flowers of the twilight,
Fragrance of true Love,
Redeeming miraculous,
Forgeting disastrous plight

Tender blossoms of determination,
Heavenly scenting,
In bloom repenting,
By fertile faithing grown,
Are they eternally known

Faith keepers
Are sow reapers
In the dusky space fields
Of the star flower

Mourning Stars

Even stars twinkle when they cry,
refracted tears, streaming light on high,
They scream, “Why, oh why?”
cry the stars in the sky,
burning and fueled by pain

Gleaming with luster, in sparkling winks,
shining in anguish,
mysteriously linked,
Stars in the sky,
With sorrowful sighs,
Why, oh why do you cry?

Dying in glory,
Immortal through time,
Tortured inferno,
Illuminous minds,
Stars up in heaven,
And stars down on earth,
Stars live forever,
Their blessing and curse

So Why am I Cold?

Dearest Master,
Please don’t let me get cold.  Wrap me in blankets and nestle me into Your heart.  Please don’t let me be dizzy from hanging out upon clouds..
I spin motionless in Your company.  We go places together, journeys into other worlds where people smile all the day long and remain immersed in Your Spirit;  the utopian dream where strangers greet each other with warm embrace and holy kiss in the name of Jesus.
Lord, I pray to glimpse into the glorious days of Your kingdom.  I pray to see the lion eat straw and the baby safely play with a snake.  Bring forth Your miracles and accomplish the impossible. I desire to see the world reserved for those who revere You.  Amen
Peace on earth and goodwill toward men—the ideal of Shalom burns inside of me.  I blame You for putting it there.  I thank You for opening my heart and enlightening my eyes.
So why am I still cold?  I grow lukewarm in my associations.  I believe solitude with You can cure me.  You bring me through the valley and give me a path to walk on, a purpose for which to live.  So why am I cold?
The shattered glass is nearly mended.  I am just waiting for You to move.   I know You Love me.  I search for You in a church but prefer to experience You in divine communion.   Thank you for not leaving of forsaking me even in my sin.  I trust in Your precious promises.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.

These Outer Courts Called Earth

Dear Master,
Hyperspace connection, lifted off to Your temple in the sky. These outer courts called earth, where the ignorant and uninitiated dwell, here I bear the burden of loneliness and responsibility of Love.
Your Highness envelops those who Love You, and I beam testimonies to the promises You shared.  Make my soul an inner sanctuary,  peaceful, tranquil, in perfect harmony with Your voice. You show me the interconnectedness of life—from the beetles to comets; from butterflies to the seasons—Your timing for everything is perfect.
Come move me as Your tool.  Send Your Holy Spirit.  I am ready and willing.  Come occupy this temple, this person of my body.  My spirit is waiting; my soul inside for You.
Thanks be to You Lord.  I rejoice at the victory You won but lament Your physical absence on earth.  In Jesus name.  Amen.

Carried From Grace to Grace

Most Beloved Master,
You made it clear not to worry.  You assuage my fears and remind me that Your abiding presence is a controlling force over the future.  Thus I proceed forward in the sanctuary of each moment, reserving a quiet place in my heart for You.  You whisper “patience” in my ear and assure me I will know what to do when I get there; You enlarge my capacity for grace and transform me into a lighthouse of Love, a spiritual oasis of Living Waters.
I marvel at Your grace, that You look fondly upon a depraved and darkened soul as mine.  I long for Your purity.
I shall not worry about coin or money, for You are a God of divine providence, the One who keeps me safe within the eye of the storm.  Praise be to You.  Amen.
Teach me the ways of Your Kingdom, how to Love my enemies and overcome my self-willed nature.  All battles belong to You.  I am simply and observer along for the ride.  I wait for You to move me with Your Spirit.
I adore You and desire to gaze into Your face.  Convict me and make me an obedient servant.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

Regenerative Renewal

Sweet Darling,
Teach me about Your Love, that blessed union inside, perfect contentment and preoccupation with my Savior, peeping back at me through the stained glass; Heaven’s windows have eyes.
Take me to the apex of victory, the crest of climactic crescendo without the fall.  Guide my ship to safe harbor.  You make the infinitely improbable come to pass.
Come grow in me, and feed me the manna of Your sweet doctrine.  Renew in me, for I cannot live by food alone but through the Words of Your mouth, the promise of Your Love.  You expressed redemption in
Word and performance.  I found new meaning thanks to You.
Come regenerate in me, and continue to provide me opportunities to demonstrate how much I trust You.  I rely on Your grace and You have sustained me.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

Give Me Transcendence through Mourning and Awaken Me at Night’s End

Dear Lord,
I shall work for You, my Father.  Please let me work for You, my Father.  Appoint me, anoint me; make my eyes to glisten with Your Spirit.  Make my voice to crack with Your Power.  Activate my commission and give me the wisdom to discern.  I know I have been a fool in the past.  Give me transcendence through mourning, and awaken me at night’s end.
With You I have purpose and hope.  It gratifies me to watch You fit the pieces of my life together, to see all the road signs indicating a good direction.  Without You I have nothing, but with You I inherit the spiritual and divine.
Thank You for the scent of roses, for the beauty in Your creation.  Thank You for the time You grant before I return to dust.  Thank You for Your suffering and victory.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.
